Fruit Smoothie

Updated: Sep 25

Great pick me up, filled with Vitamin C and potassium, naturally sweet and refreshing.

Naturally gluten free, vegetarian and a great midday snack to boost energy. Take small sips to savor the flavor or drink from a straw if you're in a rush.

Great for on the go. I can easily take the drink with me by switching tops on the personal blender. If you are short on time, blend this up quickly and drink as you drive to your destination or work at your computer. The cover ensures no spills.

Add a half cup of yogurt to blender then add fruit mixture. Blend well. (See video above) This smoothie comes out rather thin, not thick like my morning smoothie which has more of a milkshake texture. I don't care to add crushed ice because I don't like anything that cold, but you can add the ice for a thicker, creamier drink.

I can't give amounts, I can only give ingredients. Most Italians don't cook with measurements, they cook with heart. My mom taught me to add ingredients until "it looks good". So, judge for yourself.

Ingredients:

Banana

Mandarin

Apple

Pear

Watermelon (add any fruits your heart desires. Many choose to add berries)

Plain yogurt
