Pasta. Is there anyone who doesn't love pasta? I've never met anyone. Can these people possibly exist? I'm voting no.

Most people love it. We feed it to babies and not only do they enjoy it, we often get a good laugh. It's worth the mess. My son once fell asleep in a bowl of spaghetti.
People of all ages enjoy pasta. Even our furry friends indulge. How could they resist, it's just too delicious.

Homemade Gluten Free Butternut Squash Ravioli
There are so many ways to make pasta and so many sauces to top it with. One of my favorites is making homemade pasta dough, my hands hard at work kneading, rolling and shaping. I used to help my maternal grandma make homemade ravioli from when I was a small child.. (see How My Ancestors Fed Large Families During The Depression And Then The War Years)
Pasta enhances many meals and added to soups is both filling and delicious. I love to break up spaghetti and add it to lentil soup. I add elbows to vegetable soup and penne to red vegetable soup. Speaking of lasagna, I make it so many different ways. Traditional is always delicious. If I'm in a hurry, crockpot lasagna is quick and easy and then there's a delicious, nutritious vegetable lasagna
It wouldn't be Sunday in an Italian family if a big Sunday dinner wasn't served and the whole family didn't come over. When I was a kid, we went to my paternal grandparent's every Sunday. Now, the family gathers at my parents' house.
