Disclaimer: I made this for family members. I can't eat this as it has soy in it and I'm allergic to soy.
Vegan Balls: I used Impossible meat. Put Impossible meat in large bowl. Add gluten free plain bread crumbs. (I use 4C brand) Season with salt, onion powder, garlic powder, parsley, Sazon seasoning (made by Goya) dijon mustard, ketchup, vegan milk (little bit) - mix well. Roll mixture into balls and place in a pan. Why I don't eat meat!
Sauce: Mix your favorite barbecue sauce with grape jelly in saucepan. Add onion powder and salt. Stir over low heat until small bubbles form, stirring constantly to melt jelly and combine in barbecue sauce.
Pour sauce over vegan balls. Bake at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes.
You can make them in advance like I did. When they sit in the sauce, they marinate and it's delicious. Cover with tin foil and refrigerate. Bake when you are ready to serve or bake and serve immediately.
I can't give amounts, I can only give ingredients. Most Italians don't cook with measurements, they cook with heart. My mom taught me to add ingredients until "it looks good". So, judge for yourself.
