With the holiday a week away, I just wanted to wish everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving.
May your holiday be filled with family, food and fun! It may be different, it may be smaller, but be thankful for all you have.
Try to remember those who are in need, especially at this time of year, and if you can, donate and/or volunteer. .
Count your blessings, list what you are thankful for, enjoy your family, good food and a lot of laughs. If you can, "visit" with family and friends via Zoom, Facetime, Skype, etc. It's the next best thing. We all have to make the best out of a terrible situation.
Last but not least, eat dessert. Dessert makes everything better! Yes, have both slices of pie, eat that chocolate cake. One day of indulgence won't kill you and you only live once! Enjoy.
Come back soon for my Refried beans and rice recipe!
