Delicious Vegetarian Meals

Made With Love

I've loved vegetables and seafood since I was a small child.  I was the weird kid who went out to dinner with my parents at three years old and ordered Shrimp and Brussels sprouts.  Wait staff would look at my parents as if to say, is this kid for real, and my parents would say, "Bring it to her."  Was I weird or was I smart?  Who wanted chicken nuggets when I could order delicious meals!

I was also the oddball who stayed inside with my grandmother to cook while all the siblings and cousins where outside playing. Oh, I had my share of fun, no worries, especially as a teen, but by twelve years old, I was cooking entire meals for dinner for the family by myself.  The family consisted of my parents, four girls, two grandparents, five dogs, a cat and a bird. But the house was always filled with guests for dinner and neighborhood dogs who showed up at the door on Sundays for a taste of Sunday dinner.

This site is in memory of my two grandmothers and in honor of my mom who is still with us, thankfully.  I learned from the best, the three of them.

As my mom always said, she doesn't measure anything, she just adds things until it looks good.  Well, she has some eye, because she's an amazing cook! I guess I'm good too, from what people say.  I figure if they go back for more, it must be good!
